Having stayed at Rodmay Hotel over Christmas, I found the heritage ambience truly captivating. The grand lobby and double staircase exude charm, taking you back in time. The rooms are cozy and equipped with all essentials, including free WiFi. The on-site coffee shop and fireplace in the lobby add to the warm atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail in outlining the building's history was impressive. Exploring the vintage collectibles scattered around the main floor was a delight, reminiscent of a bygone era. Despite the ongoing renovations, the hotel still retains its unique character, making it a memorable experience. With a variety of dining options within walking distance and attractions like Nootka Dunes Golf Club nearby, Rodmay Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and heritage charm in Powell River, just a short drive from the town center.
